Mary's 5 year old son Barney was curiously looking at the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
The aroma of the freshly baked cake and tasty delicacies filled the whole house.
Barney to his Mom Mary "Why do we celebrate Christmas?"
Mary "It Jesus Christ's Birthday, just like you celebrate your birthday every year"
Barney still curious "How old is Jesus Christ?"

DeleteFor those of you, like myself, who can remember Art Linkletter interviewing young children of his daily television program, you'll understand his phrase for that segment of his program and his books entitled; "Kids Say the Darndest Things." This would be a perfect example since they're always so innocent when they say them.
