Hi 2017....Ok Bye 2016

This is the mandatory new year post

Dear 2016,

I loved you. but I think I would move on.
You were nice and everything. You did give me a lot of memories

But 2017 is giving me more hopes.

Bye....

So that's how we parted ways with 2016

Why did I break-up with 2016?

It was well...nice...yeah that's it.
I grew up a bit. There were few significant decisions in my life. I traveled less than I did in 2015. My friends have got very busy in their lives and we hardly got to catch-up this year. My health was not that good most of the year.
We lost a few people in my country, which was pretty sad

Well, a few good things did happen; I went for a half month long vacation to one of my bucket list destination "Ladakh". I got creative and made some super cute DIY decors for my house and....this year ended too soon.
One really good thing this year was that it did keep up all my resolutions that I had made last year.

2016 Resolutions

More attention to Rantzz of A Drama Queen: I did write a lot in this blog

One Week One post: I promised myself 48 posts by the end of this year. But, I almost doubled it up. 90 posts in Rantzz of a Drama Queen and 112 posts in my other blog at the end of December 2016 *applause*

But, I think I was over 2016 and he had to go. Well....so long.....

I have been told to make just three resolutions, its easier to remember and to manage so.

Hello 2017 *winks*

This is our agenda for the year,

* Write a lot in both the blogs: By the end of the year, from May onward, I started writing much lesser than I used to. I just made excuses to not write. This year I am sincerely going to try again. Amen!

Shop Less, Save More: I impulsively shopped way too much in 2016. This year I am going to try hard not to. I have started making amends too, so that looks like a good start for now

Read more books and, complete at least 3  TV series: Last year, I did read but very less. I started seven TV series and completed just two, which is bad.

Now, 2017 I want you to be nice and bring me and my family a lot of good things, great news, plenty of money and a lots of peace of mind.

XOXO
I love you already

BarAThon: Tiny Shoes

Day 5 of the #BarAThon

Ramu a small poor farmer lived on a lonely farm with his wife, and there were many many pixies and other fairies all around.
One morning in while Ramu went to the shed to feed his cows, he saw that the cows had been milked and fed, the chicken coop was cleaned, the farm was tilled.

He wondered who had done it, maybe it was his wife or the men who worked with him. When the laborers came to work he questioned them, but none of them knew anything about it.
The next night the same thing happened; no one went near the shed, but in the morning all the work was done.

The third night the Ramu made up his mind to find out who it was that was helping him, so he hid himself behind some hay, and lay there watching. The moon shone in and the shed was lit beautifully, but for a long time the Ramu heard and saw nothing.
Then suddenly he heard a sound of footsteps approching, and there was a little fairy carrying a heap of hay for the cow in his tiny hands. The little man was not a foot high. He was as pink as a cotton candy and had scarce a rag of clothes upon him. The little fairy didn’t even have shoes and his feet were all worn out.
He worked so hard that the sweat poured down his forehead, and now and then he stopped to wipe it away. Then he say in a sing-song voice "I sweat, I sweat, I sweat, I sweat"

Ramu was filled with admiration and gratitude, and the third time the little man cried I sweat!” Ramu could hold his tongue no longer, but answered him, “That you do!”
No sooner had he spoke, the little fairy vanished in thin air.
PC: pintrest
The farmer waited for a while, but the little fairy man did not return. At last Ramu, went back home and told his wife what he say “You stupid!” she said, when he had made an end of the story. “You should never have spoken to him. The small folk cannot bear to be spoken to!”

Well, the damage was done, and now the only thing to do was to think of some way to coax the fairy back.
Early the next morning the Ramu’s wife suggested over breakfast
“did you say the fairy doesn’t have good clothes and shoes?”
Why not I will make a little suit of clothes for him, and tiny shoes too. We can keep it in the shed for him.”
Ramu agreed, they made pretty clothes for him and that night the fairy & Ramu became friends for life.
Now, every month Ramu gives the fairy new clothes and candies while in return the happy fairy does the work in the farm for Ramu.

PS: Why does this story sound something like a book that I used to read as a kid???

BarAThon: Caught Red Handed

Day 4 of the #BarAThon

Mike had an affair with his wife's best friend Claire. One evening, Mike took Claire to a garden for a good time. Incidentally, that garden was right next to Mike's 4 year old son's school. Mike's son - Joel saw them go into the garden and was super excited to tell his mother all about it.

Joel "Mom Mom..I saw Dad going into the garden with Aunt Claire and they...."

The furious mother cut his sentence there itself.

Mom "Joel, fine, you can say all of these when your father comes home"

After 2 hours, Mike comes home to see his wife sitting with her hands folded to her chest and her son sitting on the floor with his Lego blocks.

Mom "Joel, tell daddy what you saw today exactly what you told me"

Joel "I saw....I saw Dad going into the garden with Aunt Claire and they did exactly the same thing that you mom do with Uncle Bill"

"Never stop kids from expressing what they want to, Let them complete"

BarAThon: Fragile Lives

Day 3 of the #BarAThon Challenge

He was lying there alone, not knowing where he is. He is still dazed and confused as to what is going on around him. Nothing is really making any sense, the weird smell, so many of unfamiliar faces. Where was he?

His last memory was of him on a bike with his friend on the highway. Why were they on a bike? He wondered. Yes! It's Nishant's birthday. We were going to wish him. We were going fast on Sumer's new 1000cc sports bike

He was slowly trying to open his eyes to the bright light. He saw green curtain drawn near him, he smelt this peculiar hospital smell, he saw people moving swiftly. All seems to be very weird, that's when he hears a woman's voice. He strains his eyes to see to whom is she addressing to, she is talking to Amit, his elder brother. Amit looks so worried. Why?

He starts panicking on what he hears next..He hears the woman say "Your brother? has been calling for you ever since..By the way..his hand..its gone"

These words make him go hysterical. He starts panicking. He goes breathless. He starts screaming,. Hot tears are stung to his eyes. Nothing seems real anymore. He does not remember anything. What accident? Where is he? Who got him here? What happened?

He tries hard to look at his hand..but is not able to see anything. He looks harder and sees his hand wrapped up in something. His shirt is smeared with blood. His pants are torn.He feels no pain..He is not able to cry. He closes his eyes and wishes for a small ray of hope.

Just then the green curtain moves and he sees his friend with whom he was on the bike lying next to him with a sorry look in his eyes.
He hears Amit standing next to him and saying that he had met with an accident. Those few moments felt like a lifetime.
That's when he gave a loud wail.A wail of despair. A wail of helplessness. A wail of losing something very precious.

Two doctors appear from behind the curtains and unwrap his bloodied bandage and say with a faint smile "the hand is badly injured but it can be operated. don't worry"
Hearing these words made him want to laugh and cry at the same time. These words made him want to believe. He wanted to cling this little hope.
This was that moment, when he saw life. This was the moment, when he felt God

One moment of death

Mumbai

I may not miss Mumbai. I may like this city more than Mumbai in certain aspects. But, whichever part of the country I go, I take a bit of Mumbai with me.

Mumbai runs in my veins, its in my blood. There might be rush crowds, there are long travels in crowded trains, the real estate market might be the highest in this country, but there is so much warmth in the people. Those tired smiles in the trains, the trusting hawkers, the negotiating women, the corner vegetable vendor, make this city special.

There are floods, there are blasts, but the city's spirit comes alive when everyone is helping each other. The city's life is seen when people go to work immediately the next day after a blast. That is Mumbai

Not many shop "organic" vegetables, a bisleri water can at home is unheard of, but vada pav, pav bhaji, pani puri, bhel puri, sandwich, dabeli, gola, pom-pom idli are just familiar sounds.

Every festival celebrated so beautifully, the Ganpati dance, the dandiya raas, the kebabs and sheer khurmas, with a dash of Mumbai cannot be replicated anywhere in the world

My eyes light up when I hear "Mumbai" in movies or videos or articles. My ears are all alert when I listen to news about "Mumbai".

PC: makemytrip
I live a life that is way better than I was in Mumbai, but every now and then I get nostalgic. I may have planned to settle and live the next many years of my life in this city, but Mumbai will always be "my city". I may someday have kids in this city, but I will try to inculcate the "Mumbai" values in them.

If you love Mumbai city, this city loves you back. If you hate the crowds and fast pace, the city gives it back in return.

We Mumbaikars, we leave the city but its always "Mumbai meri jaan".
Because, Mumbai is not a city, Mumbai is dreams, Mumbai is heart, Mumbai is LIFE *chest fist*

PS: I get nostalgic once in a while

Valentines Week Special

So, there is this new kid at work. She is around 21, fresh out of college but is still in college in her head.
She apparently doesn't know that I am a Mrs for more than a year now, so during lunch she asks me "What are you doing for the Valentine week? Am sure you must be dating someone"

With mouthful of food and in no position to reply, I just nod. In my head I am like, What Valentine week?
And she goes on
"First its is Rose day, I have to buy a pink rose, I don't want  to be too obvious. I hope I get a red
Then its Propose day, I hope he knows that, I am so excited
PC:zazenlife
Then I expect him to buy me a Ferrero Rocher on Chocolate Day
And I have seen this but brown teddy in the mall, I will take him there on Teddy Day
Then I will promise to never ever ever leave him on Promise Day
Oh my God & I will properly hug him on Hug Day
Then na, eeeeeee, we will kiss on Kiss day yaay
Then its Valentines Day. I have got a new red dress. I am sure he will love it."

I am like What? Do people even follow this crap so seriously?

Then I interpret in the crudest manner possible

1st he gives you rose & pataos you
Then he proposes you
Then he feeds you chocolates & gives you teddies, gifts and stuff to pamper you
Then he fakes a "I will never leave you babu, plomish"
Then he gets his chance, he kisses you
Then kiss turns into something and you guys get laid on Valentine's Day.

I think I interpreted it well. I am not sure why she had that pissed off look on her all day after lunch?

Grown up Me & my blog

This being my birthday month & tomorrow (21st Jan)  being my birthday I really wanted to write this post that has been lingering on my mind for the past few days.

They say 80% of the time in the shower is spent thinking & 20% in actually taking a shower, it is almost true since the idea of the post came on a Sunday in the shower.

When I started this blog in 2008, I did not know followers, I did not know that blog posts being taken seriously by the world outside, For me it was a medium to rant out
I used to write crappy blogs, with "so-called modern" English (Ma Life, Da house)
I used to use filthy language.
I used to never proof read & had enough spelling mistakes to make a dead spelling nazi die again a hundered times
And grammar? What grammar, something of that sort did not exist on my posts.
I used to write posts about my life, the people in it, my crushes, the crushing of my crushes

Then one of my close friends asked me "Why do you write such personal things on your blog"
Then my reply was "Ma Blog, Ma Rulz" ( How my present me would love to slap my old me)

Now after years, and after trying to grow up I realised, my blog is who I am. It is my personality to the world outside.
Do I want to show that Dee Dee is thrashy?
Do I want to show that Dee Dee doesnt care about people by using a bad language?
No

When I leave my house to go out, I don't dress shabbily. I look pretty, I present myself well to the world, then shouldn't my blog too should be a mirror of the real me that the wanna-be teen me?

So, now my posts are better, they are proof read 5 times before being published, they are carefully posted on social sites.

Me & my blog both have grown, and grown well.

Thank you for all my readers till date, who have encouraged me and at times tolerated a few of my posts too
Happy Birthday to me & my blog

They shall rise

PC: Taken on my phone on 26th December 2015 in Kerala.
It is the oldest operative Jew Synagogue outside Israel
You walk alone and feel someone follow you
The silence around it broken by the cracking of a dry leaf, like someone just stepped on it.
Your heart shall race but the pace might slow down a bit

You walk alone and hear voices.
It speaks a thousand words of valor, of war, of love, of hurt of betrayal
You wonder if the voice was for real

You walk alone but never look back as told by the locals
For they are standing, looking, waiting for someone to call
And from underground, shall rise one and all

Just Another New Year post

Good bye 2015!

It has been a good year though, lot of new experiences, lot of travel, lots of fights, lots of smiles, lot of learning, and also a bit of a low phase, a bit of a high phase.

It was more like a Bollywood movie, a super hit movie though.

On 31st, while I was driving back with Awin, I was reminiscing about 31st December was celebrated when I was a kid.
Our society used to have a year end annual function, we kids used to be excited about it all of December, preparing for it all month.'
Mornings used to be for sports for kids - Lemon & Spoon, Running race, Sack race, Relay etc.
Evenings were dedicated for fancy dress, singing, solo dance & group dance.

And the highlight of the evening was the "old man".
Well, we kids used to gather twigs, sticks, hay, old shirt and an old pant and stuff and make a cloth face and burn him. It signifies the going of an old year and welcoming the new one.

I miss my old days.

Anyways, I have a few resolutions this year, which i am not going to write here. But, there are some resolutions that I intend to keep up.

More attention to Rantzz of A Drama Queen: In 2015, I gave a lot of attention to my new blog, and I did get emails from people that they want to see more updates here. So, I have promised myself I will write more here

One Week One post: This year I will consciously try to write at least one post a week. I hope to have at least 48 posts this year

Family to Greedy: What I am going to write about? Silly poems, long posts, rants and yeah! I am greedy to win contests to quite a few contests too.

In the end, happy 2016 to all.
Love, Eat, Pray & Be Happy

A beautiful night

In the dark of the night
Beside me he sleeps tight

I can't sleep a wink
Neither can I blink

For I'm scared of the creatures of the dark
Ghosts, ghouls, spirits and dead souls that wander across the park

I tiptoe across my room and open the curtains wide
The room floods with the beautiful moonlight

Serene and calm it brings a smile on my face
At the beautiful moon I gaze

The room looks like out of my childhood story book
Where the princess sleeps, moonlight beams and the angels overlook

ABCW-What..What..Water

Today, I can imagine how it feels to be helpless in a stupid situation.

How?

Eyore Night Shirt
Well, It is Saturday and Im a lazy bum on weekends. One thing I hate to do on weekends is have a bath unless I have to step out of the house. I can roam around the house dirty in my long "Eeyore-Sad donkey" tshirt all day and not be guilty about it.

My society has this practise of cleaning the water tanks once a month, that is good.
It seems they had informed the society members of the water cut for 12 hours on Saturday, which my family knew. But, since no one was there at home when I woke up I had no idea of the water cut.

After a lot of pep talk to myself, I went to bathe myself.
The water through the faucet was kind of weak, I thought it must be an faucet issue.
Shampooed my hair, lathered myself with nice soap.

And And And........the dripping water vanished..

I was there all naked with shampoo sliding on my face, one eye open, cursing the water line.
I dont know how long was I sitting there staring at the wall and seeing every crevice of the bathroom, trying to wash away the shampoo with whatever little water was left.

And suddenly, the water motor turns on...

Trust me I have never been so happy at the sound of any motor, after like 2-3 minutes the faucet opened and I felt blessed.

Lessons Learnt
Faucet Image Courtesy: Google Images
1. If you hate bathing, dont pep talk yourself
2. Get up early even on weekends so that you get enough information of what id going on around you
3. Never take anything for granted, especially water
4. Love every faucet, every
non living thing in your house. Some day you are going to be grateful to them

ABCW: Veil of a Woman

I am a lamp without wicks. But I can burn you down.
I am that mothers of new-born's and brides fear.
I am the one they ward against with a black dot on their child's cheek.
I'm the reason why pregnant women are kept indoors.
I cause sisters to worry about their brothers.
I make mothers weep for their sons and I m the reason why wives want to keep their husbands away

I am the one you fear in the dark.
I'm the one with claws and fangs.
I'm the one with power of seduction

I can turn the milk sour with my touch.
I can burn the grass to ashes.
Marshes dry when I walk on them.
Rain clouds dissipate when I raise my eyes on them

Men fall to the power of my charms
Women curse their fate

I'm the nightmare young wives wake up from.
I'm the rustle of  skirts women dread

I'm the ghoul that damns gene pools and feasts on husbands.
I carry back, every fear, every dark secret, every hushed whisper known to human mind.

My skin is soft, eyes are like pearls, my voice sounds like distant bells, the curve of my being makes men go on their knees

In real, my opaque skin, the claws and fangs are here to take them away from their women.

My name spelt aloud leads to destruction.

I'm that woman, residing in every woman.

Old Songs Vs New

I have the habit of humming songs when I am at home or work.
My genre of songs vary, ranging from EDM's to Indi-pop to 90's pop, its mostly Bollywood-new & old.

I realized, I am more well versed with the lyrics of old songs than the new.
I can barely remember more than 2 lines of the recent songs like either current trending or the recent past like say about 2 years.

But, I can sing the whole song that was released much before I was even born.

Why?

PC: Media lic
1. Now a days most of the songs is a party song with girls in skimpy outfits, smoke, dope, daru, a few Delhi references here and there and lots of boom boom
2. The slow songs have no become repetitive, the music, the tone, the tune all sound similar
3. Insane lyrics

The irony is, I actually remember the whole songs with its music of those that were released much before I was born.
I also remember broken lyrics of the songs that were released in the 90's

Is it that the songs quality has deteriorated or is it that my memorizing capacity is reduced?

No Phone but Lots of peace

In these days, when cell phone have become an inseparable part of us, its weird to think the some years back we never had cell phones & still we survived happily.
Then we started using those black and white phones and slowly we promoted ourselves to touchscreen phones.
Now, everything from keeping in touch with people, reminding birthdays, making a grocery list, browsing for jobs, replying to emails, shopping, clicking pictures, searching for recipes , even eating and ordering food is now on phone.
We have dual sim phones. dual sim two phones, for god knows why.

Its like another limb.

So, what happens if this phone stops working? I'll tell you what happens.
You feel disconnected, your hand  automatically goes to the unlock of the cell phone.

Well, my touchscreen phone went for a toss, and my work involves a lot of calls all day, so I desperately needed a spare phone to at least receive calls.

So I got myself a Nokia 130 - palm sized, button phone, with a 26-day battery life, dual sim and a Snake game & that's it.

No Bluetooth (my ears are connected to the Bluetooth head set when I travel, or drive)
No basic browsing
No Whatsapp, No Facebook. No twitter. No Google. No Google Calender. No emails. No other games.

Now I realize, how addicted I was to my phone.

I was feeling like a person addicted to drugs. I had to have my daily dope of "Good Morning", Morning masala's on Facebook, & Times of India pop-ups, emails to keep me sane.
Pressing those buttons seem to be a pain now.

Now, I am sitting here relaxed & feeling like a nirvana from tech, all that urge to consistently check my emails 7 messages has considerably reduced.

I do miss my phone. but its ok. Its not my limb anymore.

Mumbai to Bangalore :D to :(

Right, so I was in Mumbai for the past whole week, where it was warm, balmy, a tad bit humid but good for my skin, hair & bones.
Then, I landed to Bangalore wearing this Deepika Padukone's airport look-alike sleeveless top, I get off that airplane and Whoosssshhhh! a cold, bone chilling blast of air freezes my facial nerves & I am like
(Left) Mumbai to (Right) Bangalore
Alright, I walk to the bus stop outside the airport and what I see?
Its drizzling, Goddammit!
It's not just rains rains, It does not gives way to sunlight & warmth (this word I will emphasize)
It just drizzles, like a revengeful bitch, it just wants to drench you enough for shivering all the way home but not soak you all over.

I reach my apartment & see sad kids trying hard to make one cracker burst without the rains spoiling the whole fun of Diwali (Poor thing!)

I reach home & realize that I am sleepy, not because I was tired, it was because outside it was all chilling & grey and I had work next day, and I was cent percent sure that I wont be able to bring myself to ditch my comfortable quilt and get off that bed.

Look Bengaluru, I love you OK. But you need to know this, you are already slow enough to make people sleep all day, please don't make extra efforts to put people to sleep

And Dear Rain,
Why? Why you no come after Diwali?
*yawns*

What does Independence mean to You?

Its just a few days past the 69th Indian Independence Day.
I was asked, what does independence mean to you?

I asked the same question to a few people from difference age groups with a different mindset.

4 year old kid said "Indian outfit, and flag, and sweets and I will sing Jana Gana Manna and salute to our flag"

10 year old said "Independence means, no homework and projects for me"

15 year old said "Independence for me is, going clubbing without my id card being checked"

23 year old said "Independence, 15th August, Holiday, We will party man and sleep"

28 year old said "What Independence? I am working today too.I pay taxes, I don't get anything, What independence you are talking about man?"

32 year old "Independence, I want a day off from all the office, children and home chores, a day for myself"

34 year old ex-army-man said "Independence, the history, the story inspires me to join the army again, if I could, Not just my arm, I will sacrifice my life for the flag"

49 year old "Independence for me, would be a corruption free country and better services for people from their tax money"

Another 49 year old said "Independence would be when my daughter can go out in shorts to any place, at any time and I don't have to keep worrying about her safety"

Lastly, An octogenarian said "Independence is the sacrifice of millions of people, sacrifice of soldiers and families who never saw caste and creed, who fought for Indians, who dreamt of a beautiful peaceful county. I don't say our country is not beautiful, but with the everyday crimes, and riots in the name of religion and caste. We are independent, but still bonded by so many influences.
We are independent, but we still see differences in people of our own country.
Some people say they want British rule again, little did they know how our countrymen were treated, even 0.05% of that mental agony, physical torture and ever man would pray only to have a free country. I know, I have been there, I have seen it"

So What does freedom mean to you?

New Driver

Confession till 2014: I do not know to drive a car

Confession today (as of 14th May 2015): I am a newbie driver

Confession next month and so on and so forth: I am a pro driver

Tell you what, till date, I was one of those who used to camouflage my "not knowing to drive" thing as "Oh, I have a chauffeur everywhere" dialogue
All these years, my brother has persistently been after my life to learn to drive, and I being lazy always stalled it until I shifted cities, actually a little before that.
There was an incident that just made me realize that you have to know to drive, even if its not as good as a pro.

Before my wedding, we went Saree shopping to this amazing place in some place in interior of South India. We hired a car and reached the place shopped, suddenly our driver started profusely sweating and his left hand started aching.
Yes, he had a minor heart attack, I, my father and my mother, none of us know to drive, luckily for us, the villagers were very helpful, they called a doctor but advised the driver to go to a bigger hospital since this certainly was a minor attack.
Its on humanitarian grounds that he shouldn't drive, one of the village boys knew decent driving and took us back to the city.
Thank God! our driver was safe, bless him
Also, that's the day I realized, driving is not a luxury its a necessity at times.

So, I promised myself that I will join a driving school and start driving, soon will drive like a Pro (Amen!)

Now, that I have started driving, I realize that driving does liberate a girl in some ways.
As on 14th May 2015
In a small way, it makes a person independent.

This new found small independence, makes me feel good every time. But, also it makes me feel sad when I cant do a particular action (say like reversing, I suck at it)

Till yesterday, I was driving the driving school vehicle with the clutch and brake with the instructor, so in a way you know, heart of hearts that if you mess up, someone will save your ass.
But, today my husband, (I don't know where he got that confidence from) let me ride his precious car, the Polo that had just come out of the garage after giving out a 5 figure bill.
Trust me, I was terrified, I was shivering inside, but i did do a good job, coz my husband did have a smile on his face.
Woah! I mean the experience was exhilarating. I have no words.
You know, that feeling when you are in this giant roller coaster, initially you are shit scared, and suddenly, you are free, flying happy, screaming.

I feel like I am on top of the world, flying to Pluto

Yaay! Moi is driver :D

Thank you hubby & my little brother who have put enough trust and confidence in me to lend me their cars to drive. Love you both
XOXO (last line sounds like a Miss India speech, well its a Ms. Driver speech)

Virginity Test

This topic might be repetitive. The topic is so compelling that I just had to put it into words,

I have shifted to another city, and I was travelling in a bus back home and I heard a group of guys in formals with a big IT company id cards hanging on their necks.

Guy 1: "Dude, but she has a past man, 2 boyfriends. am sure something must have happened between them da. How can I marry a girl who has already "done it"?"
Guy 2: "you have also done it da"
Guy 3: "so what he can do it, he is a guy, but she is a girl and this is marriage we are talking about not some passing affair, she is not a virgin and he is getting a used maal"

I was appalled, I wanted to turn and give a piece of my mind, but my stop just had to come.

We are in the 15th year of the 3rd millennium, claiming that India is progressing.
People flying to different parts of the world to work and study, science so advanced that people have started booking a land on moon but still we think a girl has to be a virgin on her martial bed.

Virginity is still a base to check a girl's morality. A non virgin girl is not supposedly a good wife material.

Its claimed that women have equal rights in the society, still white sheets are used on the first night to check if the bride is a virgin.
Men date many girls its ok
If a girl dates many guys she is a slut.

There is even a dialog in a movie "a girl is like a lock, should be opened with only one key. if its opened with many keys its a bad lock. A man is like the key if he opens many locks he is called the master key"
I mean, what double standards.

A girl who has had boyfriends and has had break-ups is tagged "easy", automatically guys start thinking its easy to "patao" her and take her to bed.

"easy" is the nicest words I am using here, there are even more cuss words that are used for her in Indian mother tongue.

Virginity is not an exam.. Its a small invisible tissue called hymen that determines virginity. A tissue that can rupture during cycling, workouts, jogging, running not just sex.

In an age where women are as educated as men, where they have male friends and colleagues. the age where she too has fallen in love and has had her heart broken in the past.
She too is just like any other boy.
She loves her family as much, She has pressures at work, She too wants a big degree and a lot of money and a big house and a foreign vacation.

If a woman gets promoted, she has slept with her boss
Google Images
If a woman comes home late, she is sleeping with her friends
If a woman parties, she is sleeping with strangers.

A woman who doesn't
fit in the "ideal girl" bill, she is a slut
Her "purity" is determined even today.
The day she has her periods, she turns impure for 20% of the month. But, they need the same woman to bear children for them, Enough evidence that India is the 2nd most populated country in the world and people talk about virginity.
Hypocrites
